Justice Center Inventory Recovery

In December 2018, a pipe burst on one of the top floors in a courthouse, causing water leaks in several lower floors. The water leaked through asbestos fireproofing and needed immediate removal. All employees were evacuated immediately. Quality Environmental came in to do an emergency clean up of fireproofing debris and a cleaning of asbestos-contaminated courthouse inventory and personal items on several floors. Due to contamination of files, we needed to scan and shred each file inside the containment with full suit (Personal Protective Equipment). We bought a scanner and shredder specifically for this project and when completed, we disposed of scanner and shredder due to contamination.
